Don’t be put off if you don’t meet all the requirements in a job advertisement 100%. It is much more important that you know what you can do and what you still want to learn. Be open and self-confident about your strengths and weaknesses when you apply to us. And please bring some patience with you. We look at every application personally and that takes some time. You are probably asking yourself a lot of questions. We have therefore answered the most frequently asked questions in connection with an application to ACSYS here. Of course, we know that we can’t provide all the answers to all the questions here, but we still have many options in the further course of the application.
How can I tell if a position is still available?
We always keep our job advertisements in the job portal up to date. All positions advertised there are still vacant.
Are all advertised positions current?
Our job portal is updated regularly. As soon as a position is filled, it no longer appears in the job advertisements.
Can I also send an unsolicited application?
If you have not found a job that matches your qualifications in our job advertisements, you are welcome to send us an unsolicited application. Please use the job advertisement “Unsolicited application” in our job portal. This does not mean that we will have a suitable job for you straight away, but it is worth a try. Please be patient if you send us an unsolicited application, as we will take the time to look at your application and compare it with the specific requirements of the individual departments.
Do I have to apply online?
Yes, an application to ACSYS should generally be made exclusively via our job portal. This makes it easier for us to process and evaluate your application quickly in the responsible hiring team and at the same time ensures that we handle your personal data in the application process in compliance with the GDPR.
Which application documents should I upload with my application?
We need your CV as well as certificates and professional references. A cover letter is not necessary. The total size of all uploaded documents should not exceed 20 MB. Please note that only the file types PDF, JPG, JPEG and PNG are permitted.
What should I look out for in my application?
Be authentic and honest, that is important to us as a family business. And for your CV, we prefer a tabular format, starting with your most recent professional position.
Who should I address my application to?
To the right of each job advertisement in our job portal you will find a contact. However, it is not absolutely necessary to address the person directly; we are also happy to receive applications that begin with “Hello dear ACSYS team”.
Who can help me if I need help filling out the application form?
Please contact the person listed in the right-hand column of the job advertisement under Contact, also by telephone.
What is the status of my application?
Our HR team reviews each individual application and will usually get back to you within 3-5 working days. Please be patient with unsolicited applications. We need a little more time to check your documents. However, you are welcome to contact us proactively to find out the current status of your application. Thanks to our fully digital application management system, we can tell you at any time where your application is in the process.
How quickly will I receive an answer?
Immediately after submitting your application via our digital application form, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. You will then usually receive initial feedback from our hiring team within 3-5 working days. Please be patient with unsolicited applications.
Is there a dress code for job interviews?
No. But no matter which wardrobe you ultimately choose, it should be clean and neat. The clothing should be such that you feel comfortable in it and is appropriate for the job. We are usually more casual, so a suit and tie will make you stand out, a shirt and jeans will not.
Formal or informal?
In #teamacsys we usually use informal language. But we think it’s important that everyone feels comfortable, which is why we are also open to all those who feel more comfortable with formal language.
