Successful BOGY!
Visit by two students to ACSYS

We recently had a visit from two students who completed their BOGY internship at the ACSYS headquarters in Kornwestheim. Every year, we offer two places for the 10th grade internship for career orientation at grammar schools (BOGY) and secondary schools (BORS). This gives students their first important insights into the wide range of jobs in mechanical and plant engineering. By getting to know the various specialist areas and departments as well as the associated tasks and activities, the students get an overview of everything that happens in a mechanical engineering company.

Family-run medium-sized companies, such as ACSYS, offer particularly intensive insights. Thanks to flat hierarchies, direct contact with specialists and managers and a wide range of tasks, BOGY participants receive a truly successful orientation to commercial and technical professions in German mechanical engineering.

Our BOGY visitors spent a whole week with our employees. The spectrum of tasks ranged from getting to know our machines and systems, through insights into the physical background of laser processing, to the basics of mechanics and design, whereby the interests of the BOGY participants are always taken into account and given a focus during the week at ACSYS.

We hope to see our BOGY participants again this year. In any case, we wish them all the best and every success in their future professional and private lives. We are now starting to prepare for the coming year, when new young talents join us as part of BOGY & BORS.
