at ACSYS Lasertechnik US Inc.

ACSYS has been operating a sales and service branch in the USA since 2014, from which it serves the North American, Mexican and Canadian markets.

Matthias Stegmueller joined the ACSYS Lasertechnik US team on April 1, 2024. As a supplier of high-precision standard and special machines in the field of laser technology, we are thus laying an important foundation for the future. “We see great potential for our laser systems in the US market in particular. At the same time, it is very important to us to offer US customers local service and support in the country,” explains company founder and owner Gerhard Kimmel. “With Matthias Stegmueller, we are gaining an experienced manager with many years of experience in the automotive and industrial sectors, who will play a key role in the further strategic growth of the company.”

Matthias Stegmueller has more than 30 years of professional experience in technical mechanical engineering and the mobility sector. After completing his studies at Aalen University of Applied Sciences, he moved to the USA, where he worked in leading positions for Dürr, MAHLE, Bosch and Hugo Benzing, among others. Since April 2021, he has also been a member of the Board of Directors of the German-American Chamber of Commerce (AHK) for the Midwest region. In his new role, he can build on a broad network and is highly motivated: “My goal is not only to make ACSYS known in the USA, but above all to make it successful – I see North America in particular as a growth market.” The entire ACSYS team will support him to the best of its ability and is delighted about the new addition to the US team.
