100 % green electricity from hydropower
ACSYS uses 100% green electricity from hydropower at its sites in Germany and Austria. Electricity from water is one of the gentlest methods of generating electricity. Production is not only clean, but also transparent. All Energiedienst products are tested and certified by TÜV.
Environmentally friendly buildings
Sustainability was a top priority in the construction of the new ACSYS company headquarters in Kornwestheim. This is best reflected in our modern and resource-saving heating and air conditioning technology.
Own bee colonies
We have had our own bee colonies for several years now, which can be found from spring to fall in our wildflower meadow with its old fruit trees. We are aware that honey bees make an important contribution to the ecosystem and are therefore happy to offer them a home. We harvest some of the honey and are happy to hand it over as a gift.
Company bike and sustainable mobility
ACSYS employees benefit from job bike leasing – and the environment benefits too: Exhaust fumes, traffic jams, noise and congested parking spaces are an issue in the Stuttgart metropolitan region, as they are in other conurbations. Motorized traffic has a considerable impact on the environment and climate. Driving bans are already in place in some German cities, and others are likely to follow because limits forCO2 and air pollutants such as nitrogen dioxide are constantly being exceeded. Bicycles and e-bikes meet the mobility requirements of a modern society – and also contribute to solving many environmental problems.
Goodbye to the flood of paper!
Paper avoidance is already part of our everyday life wherever possible. Through consistent digitalization and the use of modern information technology, we are reducing or even completely eliminating paper. More efficient, more cost-effective and more environmentally friendly – three important factors have been improved by digital processes. And where we cannot avoid paper, we ensure consistent recycling.
ISO 14001 – Environmental management
At ACSYS, we regard active environmental protection as a matter of course and rely not only on modern technologies, but also on an effective environmental management system. We are proud to continuously improve our environmental protection performance and to be certified in accordance with the internationally recognized DIN EN ISO 14001 standard.
