Graining & perforation
The graining of interior trim in the automotive industry is usually etched. A more sustainable processing method is to engrave the surface using a laser to create the corresponding graining. Laser engraving is often simpler and more economical, especially for small parts and complex shapes, such as those found in interior trim in the automotive industry. In addition, defective surface structures in a workpiece can be optically repaired with the laser.
